The BFP is a project designed to meet the needs of Black Africans and British Minority Ethnic (BME) communities within Luton and environs through the provision of training, Information Advice and Guidance, advocacy, Employability skills, volunteering opportunities, work experience, signposting, translation services, job search, welfare benefit advice, family support and English classes.
It was initially funded by Big Lottery for 5 years (2007 to 2012) and due to the significant success of the project judging by the outcome of the evaluation carried out in 2012, the project was extended for another 4 years (2013-2017). During the 4-year period, BACC continued to provide the services it is known for and thus attracted more clients especially from Eastern Europe and Asian communities.
Our doors are always open to as many who wish to access our services.
We hold walk-in sessions on Mondays and Thursdays from 10am-3pm and on other weekdays by appointment only.
